The primary challenge in this collection was to explore different visual languages and techniques to create unique and impactful symbols and logos. The focus was on:
- Experimenting with different styles and themes.
- Incorporating traditional and cultural elements in a modern context.
- Ensuring each design has a distinct and memorable identity.
Selected Works
Experimental Symbols
- Abstract Geometric Designs: Created using abstract shapes and geometric patterns, balancing complexity and simplicity for striking and recognizable symbols.
- Organic Forms: Inspired by nature, these symbols feature fluid lines and organic shapes, capturing nature's essence in minimalist forms.
Shevitsi-Inspired Motifs
- Traditional Meets Modern: Incorporating traditional Bulgarian embroidery motifs (Shevitsi) into modern logos by reinterpreting historical patterns with contemporary design principles.
- Cultural Symbols: Designing logos that reflect cultural heritage and appeal to modern audiences, requiring a deep understanding of cultural symbolism.
Decorative Symbols
- Intricate Patterns: Creating symbols with detailed decorative patterns using symmetry and repetition for a harmonious, aesthetically pleasing effect.
- Typographic Elements: Integrating typographic elements into decorative symbols by experimenting with different typefaces and lettering styles for visually appealing designs.

2. Sketching and Ideation
- Began with rough sketches and brainstorming sessions to explore different concepts and ideas.
- Created multiple iterations of each design, refining the shapes and forms to achieve the desired effect.
3. Digital Creation
- Transferred the best sketches to digital platforms using Adobe Illustrator.
- Experimented with different color palettes, gradients, and textures to enhance the visual appeal of each design.
4. Refinement and Finalization
- Conducted several rounds of refinement, focusing on symmetry, balance, and clarity.
- Ensured each design was versatile and could be used in various contexts, from print to digital media.
