Poster Collection Pt. 01
Project Overview
During my bachelor’s courses, I had the opportunity to design a series of posters as part of various projects. This case study showcases a small collection of my favorite posters, including movie, theatre, and social posters. Each poster reflects my exploration of different themes and styles, drawing inspiration from notable works in film, literature, and social issues.
Objectives
The primary objective was to create visually striking posters that effectively convey the essence of their respective subjects. Each poster needed to stand out while maintaining a coherent visual language that aligns with the themes of the project it represents.

Role and Contributions
As the designer, I was responsible for the entire creative process, from concept development to the final design execution. My tasks included:
- Researching and understanding the source material.
- Developing concepts that capture the essence of the subject.
- Designing posters that are visually engaging and communicative.

Design Process
1. Concept Development
Each poster began with an in-depth study of the source material to grasp its core themes and visual motifs. I then brainstormed concepts that could translate these themes into compelling visual narratives.
2. Poster Designs
Inception Posters
Inspired by Christopher Nolan’s "Inception," these posters aim to capture the film’s complex narrative and dream-like visuals. Featuring the iconic spinning top, a key symbol from the movie, these designs highlight the mysterious and surreal ending of the film.
Macbeth Posters
Depicting Shakespeare’s tragedy "Macbeth," these posters focus on themes of ambition, power, and madness. With imagery of a crown concealing gravestones and witches, and a pawn with a crown, these designs reveal the dark and ominous undertones of the play.
Persona Posters
Inspired by Ingmar Bergman’s "Persona," a Swedish psychological drama, these posters delve into the film’s exploration of identity and psychological conflict. Using abstract imagery, fragmented faces, and stark contrasts, they mirror the film’s intense and introspective nature.
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof Poster
Depicting "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," this theatre poster captures the play’s tension and depth. The design features a stylish cat with modern sunglasses, a minimalist house as a cat, and a dark black background, emphasizing the play’s dramatic elements.
Social Posters
These social posters were part of a student experimental project aimed at raising awareness on various issues. With bold typography, provocative color combinations, and striking visuals, they engage viewers and provoke reflection on societal challenges.
